Embark on a rewarding new contract supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school environment near Athens, Georgia. This full-time, onsite opportunity runs through late May 2027, offering the chance to build strong relationships with students and staff while helping young learners reach their communication milestones.
In this role, you’ll manage a full elementary SLP caseload, developing and implementing individualized therapy plans, collaborating closely with teachers and support staff, and monitoring student progress. You’ll make a significant impact on students with diverse communication needs, guiding them toward their educational goals in a supportive setting.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- SLP-CCC or eligible Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Georgia state licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Prior experience with pediatric populations, preferably in school or clinical settings
- A collaborative mindset and a passion for working with young children
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary students
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Stay current with best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology
