Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active Georgia SLP License or valid GaPSC certification (one required to start; both eventually needed)
- Open to candidates with current GAPSC certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLA)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (Clinical Fellowship candidates welcome)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Previous school-based SLP experience or strong pediatric background highly preferred
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students in an onsite setting
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and document progress
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to promote positive student outcomes
- Participate in student support meetings and maintain compliance with all district and state documentation
- Foster a supportive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment for diverse learners
