This full-time role offers you the chance to utilize your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellow), collaborating closely with staff, students, and families.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Georgia SLP License or GaPSC Certificate required (either accepted to start, both needed eventually)
- Open to Speech-Language Assistants certified through GaPSC
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CF)
- Experience working within school settings and with elementary-aged children a plus
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services onsite to elementary students
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Maintain detailed student records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with educators and families
- Monitor and report student progress, adapting strategies as needed to meet varied needs
Position Details:
- Contract runs ASAP through May 26, 2027
- 37.5 hours per week, standard school hours, onsite only
