Key Qualifications:
- Active Georgia SLP License or GaPSC Certification required (Candidates will eventually need both, but either one is acceptable to start)
- SLP-CCC and CF candidates welcome; SLAs certified through GaPSC are also encouraged to apply
- Previous experience working with school-age children preferred
- Strong language, articulation, and social skills intervention expertise
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
- Ability to work onsite in a school setting near Decatur, GA
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services to elementary students in person
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings, team planning, and school-based initiatives
