Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a speech-language pathologist supporting schools in the Denver area. In this full-time position, you’ll collaborate with diverse student populations and play a key role in enhancing communication skills throughout the academic year.

Your expertise will be valued in an environment that sees professional development as vital—contractors are eligible to participate in and be compensated for professional development days. You'll be assigned to one or more school sites, with placements varying by district needs and assignments. The caseloads are well-balanced, typically ranging between 25 and 45 students, ensuring each child receives the focused attention they deserve. This is a strictly onsite role, ideal for clinicians seeking dynamic, in-person engagement. Both seasoned clinicians and strong clinical fellows are encouraged to apply, as supervision can be provided for emerging professionals. Please note SLPA credentials are not accepted for this role.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active CO SLP license required
  • Valid Colorado Department of Education certificate
  • Strong background check and fingerprint clearance required prior to start
  • Experience in K-12 educational settings preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate cultural competence with students, families, and staff
  • Commitment to onsite work—no virtual options accepted

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy to students across a wide age range
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress tracking
  • Participate in professional development sessions

This contract runs from August 6, 2026, through May 26, 2027, with a stable Monday through Friday schedule totaling 37.5 hours per week.
