Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Arvada, CO

This full-time, on-site role focuses on delivering high-quality, individualized services to a manageable caseload of 25-45 students across varying schools. The assignment offers the valuable opportunity to participate in and receive compensation for professional development activities.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Colorado Department of Education Certificate
- Valid Colorado SLP License
- Ability to complete time-sensitive credentialing, including background check and fingerprinting
- Experience working with children in educational settings preferred
- Clinical Fellows (CF) are encouraged to apply if supervision can be arranged
- On-site service only (not open to virtual or SLPA roles)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations, therapy, and support to students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state regulations
- Attend IEP meetings, staffings, and designated professional development days (with compensation)
- Adjust therapy strategies and goals tailored to each assigned caseload
This position features a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, offering structure for work-life balance throughout the school year.
