School Speech Language Pathologist - Thornton, CO

This contract opportunity involves working onsite in intensive preschool and K-8 environments, where your expertise as an SLP-CCC or SLP-CF will directly impact student success. The position is year-long, beginning July 27th, 2026, and concluding May 21st, 2027, with an additional short-term LOA coverage assignment available.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active SLP licensure with the state
- Colorado Department of Education certification required
- Qualified as SLP-CCC or SLP-CF
- Experience working in school-based settings, preferably with intensive preschool or K-8 populations
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs, conducting student assessments, and reporting on progress
- Ability to mentor and supervise SLPAs as needed
- Preference for candidates with ELL training, ESL endorsement, or Linguistically Diverse Education (LDE) Endorsement
What You’ll Do:
- Provide speech and language services within an intensive preschool classroom onsite throughout the academic year
- Support short-term LOA coverage at a K-8 school, ensuring continuity of services
- Design and deliver individualized therapy aligned with measurable IEP goals
- Monitor student progress and document outcomes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
- Supervise SLPAs to foster team development and maintain service quality
