This full-time position spans the 2026-2027 academic year (specific dates to be determined) and will involve working directly onsite with students, staff, and families across one or more schools.

Candidates with prior school-based SLP experience in California and those who are bilingual in Spanish are highly desired, as the district values effective, culturally responsive communication. Multiple openings are expected, and travel professionals eager to relocate or explore new communities are warmly welcomed.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid SLP-CCC certification
  • Active California SLP license (required)
  • Previous experience in a CA school setting strongly preferred
  • Spanish-English bilingual skills are a plus
  • Comprehensive knowledge of direct therapy and assessment best practices
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language services to students
  • Conduct assessments to identify communication needs
  • Collaborate with educational staff and families to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
  • Adapt services to meet diverse student needs and demonstrate cultural sensitivity
