Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or CCC certification preferred
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective individualized treatment plans
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students across various grade levels
- Conduct assessments to identify communication disorders and determine student needs
- Develop, update, and implement IEPs in coordination with educational teams and families
- Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare reports as required
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Offer resources, support, and training to teachers, staff, and families to promote carryover of strategies
- Adapt therapy methods to meet students’ diverse needs and learning environments
