Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid, current SLP license in Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Fluency in English and Spanish (bilingual required)
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other professionals
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct a thorough speech and language evaluation for a student in accordance with school district guidelines
- Utilize appropriate assessment tools and methodologies for both English and Spanish-speaking students
- Prepare clear, concise evaluation reports to support educational planning
- Communicate findings to the educational team and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Ensure all activities are compliant with FERPA and other relevant regulations
