The role focuses on providing comprehensive assessment and therapy to pediatric students, helping them enhance communication skills that are crucial for academic and social achievement.
What you'll bring:
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC’s) or active Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Pediatric experience, especially within school settings, preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to tailor interventions to diverse student needs
- A commitment to fostering inclusive and positive learning environments
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech and language therapy to students
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and comprehensive assessments
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to promote student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation that complies with school district and regulatory requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development opportunities
