Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure or eligibility in Texas
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or current Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Passion and experience working with pediatric populations
- Strong communication and organizational talents
- Commitment to collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to optimize student outcomes
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnostics for students needing speech or language services
- Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and implement evidence-based intervention plans
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students’ academic and functional needs
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment strategies as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and professional development activities
- Provide support and guidance to families as they navigate their child’s speech and language development
