Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
- Previous experience in K-12 educational settings is preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments and providing culturally sensitive care
- Ability to tailor therapy techniques to students’ individual needs
- Familiarity with IEP processes and school-based multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, screenings, and assessments to identify students requiring speech-language services
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Deliver direct therapy in both individual and small group settings, addressing articulation, language, fluency, and other communication challenges
- Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely documentation to support compliance and student progress tracking
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and allied service providers to support educational and communication outcomes
- Participate actively in team meetings, staff development, and ongoing professional education
- Engage positively with diverse student populations and adapt interventions as needed
