Successful candidates will:
- Hold current, active Texas SLP licensure
- Have experience in school-based speech-language pathology
- Be skilled in conducting assessments and providing direct therapy to elementary students
- Demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills
- Be able to complete required fingerprinting and credentialing documents in a timely manner
- Exhibit a collaborative approach with both staff and families
- Be fully licensed SLPs (CFs are not eligible for this role)
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Delivering targeted speech and language therapy to students on service plans
- Conducting evaluations, re-evaluations, and progress monitoring
- Documenting services and maintaining compliance with educational and legal guidelines
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Providing recommendations to enhance student success in the classroom
- Serving as an advocate for effective communication skills
