An opportunity is open for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide services on a contract basis. Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention techniques, and IEP processes
  • Exceptional communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and collaborative mindset
  • Excellent organizational skills and flexibility to adapt to changing caseloads

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs
  • Participate in the IEP process, providing expertise and documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student progress
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services in individual or group settings
  • Maintain accurate treatment records and progress notes in accordance with district and legal requirements
  • Take part in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide professional recommendations
  • Educate and support families on strategies for communication development at home
