Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Illinois SLP license (or eligibility)
- CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Bilingual Spanish-English fluency required
- Experience or enthusiasm for working with elementary-aged students
- Knowledge of school-based therapy models and IEP processes
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with teachers and families
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with school and state mandates
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to team discussions
- Foster a supportive, culturally responsive environment to encourage student progress
- Travel to only one school site, allowing for deeper relationships with students and staff
