School Speech Language Pathologist - Elgin, Illinois

Your work schedule runs Monday through Thursday, 7:45am to 12:15pm, allowing for consistent, focused engagement as well as afternoons free for other pursuits. Student hours are designed for two Early Childhood Pre-K sessions (8–10am and 10am–12pm) and a morning session for K-Transition students (8am–12pm), maximizing your time with each group in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility to obtain) for Illinois
- Previous experience supporting children in Pre-K, Early Childhood, or school settings preferred
- Familiarity with IEPs, assessments, and session documentation
- Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach
- Commitment to fostering communication development in early learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language therapy for assigned caseloads
- Evaluate, develop, and implement IEPs and treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators and parents to monitor progress
- Maintain timely, accurate records and document session outcomes
