School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Anoka, Minnesota
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting early childhood learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist near the Anoka, MN area. This part-time assignment runs from November 30th through March 5th, providing essential leave coverage. This position involves working approximately 29 hours each week on-site, serving a caseload of 20-30 early childhood students. As a direct member of the school-based team, you'll collaborate with educators and families to support children’s speech, language, and developmental needs. Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid SLP license issued by the Minnesota Department of Education or eligibility to obtain
- Previous experience working with early childhood (ages 3-5) populations strongly preferred
- Ability to provide on-site services; this position is not open to teletherapy or hybrid arrangements
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in early childhood students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and comply with school and state guidelines
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, other professionals, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations
