School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Anoka, Minnesota
A rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist eager to make a difference in Early Childhood Special Education. This contract position offers the chance to play a vital role in supporting young learners by providing high-quality speech and language services to students with a variety of needs. The assignment spans from now through the end of the 2026-2027 school year, offering a stable and impactful commitment.
In this role, you’ll work 0.8 FTE—32 hours across four days a week—in a dynamic educational environment focused on early intervention and student growth. Collaborate with educators, families, and fellow specialists to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and help children build foundational communication and language skills.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Active Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist license and professional certification required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Previous experience in school-based settings strongly desired
- Experience supporting students with multiple disabilities is a plus
- Familiarity with Early Childhood Special Education populations
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech therapy services to early childhood students within special education settings
- Conduct assessments, create intervention plans, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address individualized student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based planning strategies
