Key Qualifications:
- Current and active Minnesota SLP license (required)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Previous experience working with early childhood or school-based populations
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to engage and collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to early childhood students (ages 3–5) in a school setting
- Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to foster positive communication outcomes
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with state and federal requirements
- Employ evidence-based practices tailored to the unique needs of each student
