Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-based setting near Anoka, MN. This role offers the chance to deliver vital speech and language services to a diverse group of students, with two openings available: one at the elementary level and one spanning middle school environments.
You’ll collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to create tailored therapy plans and help students reach their communication potential. The assignment runs from September 8, 2026, through June 10, 2027, with a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours and a student caseload between 30 and 45.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Tier 3 or 4 Minnesota SLP license with school SLP licensure required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Successful experience serving children or adolescents in school-based settings
- Familiarity with a range of communication disorders and relevant intervention strategies
- Strong documentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group therapy sessions for students with speech and language needs
- Perform assessments, develop IEP goals, and monitor student progress in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams to support holistic student development
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
