Step into a rewarding contract role where you’ll support student success as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. Two positions are open, each providing dedicated services to K-8 students across elementary and middle school settings. You’ll collaborate within supportive educational teams and make a direct impact through targeted interventions.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold a Tier 3 or Tier 4 SLP license, as well as a school-based SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience working in school settings is highly valued
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize a dynamic K-8 caseload of 30-45 students effectively
- Compassionate, adaptable, and ready to contribute to a positive learning environment
Role Highlights:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, .8 FTE at the elementary level and 1.0 FTE distributed across middle schools
- Assess, diagnose, and develop IEP goals in collaboration with teachers and families
- Document student progress and maintain compliance with district and state requirements
- Attend multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Deliver engaging interventions that promote functional communication skills, supporting both academic and social growth
This assignment runs from early September 2026 through mid-June 2027, offering 37.5 hours per week during the school year. You’ll have the unique opportunity to build lasting relationships with your students while enjoying a stable schedule within a supportive school community.
