This contract role is perfect for speech-language pathologists (SLPs) with CCCs, or SLPAs, who are energized by providing hands-on, in-person support. With three immediate openings, your expertise will help cover temporary leaves, ensuring continuity of care for young learners as they work towards their communication goals.
Open Assignments:
- One position begins now and continues through mid-November.
- Another starts mid-September, covering an additional assignment.
- A third is a part-time role (.7 FTE) starting mid-November and lasting until the end of the school year.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current SLP-CCC or SLPA certification (active and in good standing).
- Previous experience working with elementary school-aged children strongly preferred.
- Ability to design and implement individualized therapy in collaboration with educators and caregivers.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and time management skills.
- Willingness to work on-site and collaborate closely with school teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services in person to elementary students as assigned.
- Conduct evaluations and help develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Monitor and document student progress using school systems and frameworks.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service staff to support each child's needs.
- Flexibly manage caseload as assignments change during leave coverage.
