Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Current Michigan license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Prior experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Comfortable supporting K-12 caseloads with diverse needs
- Strong ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers
- Must be available for on-site services; virtual candidates cannot be considered
- Please note, candidates holding only a Clinical Fellowship (SLP-CF) are not eligible
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting assessments, evaluations, and providing direct therapy to students
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintaining thorough documentation and progress reports
- Participating in IEP meetings and communicating regularly with staff and families
- Contributing positively to the school community and supporting students’ educational goals
