Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Previous experience working in a school setting
- Strong ability to manage a caseload and balance consultative and direct therapy hours
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ready references to provide during the interview process
- Comfortable interviewing either in-person or virtually
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services to a caseload of approximately 46 high school students
- Provide both direct therapy (approximately 750 hours) and consultation services (approximately 1,085 hours)
- Collaborate closely with educational staff, families, and other service providers to support student success
- Accurately maintain documentation and progress notes in accordance with school and district standards
- Adapt therapy plans to meet diverse student needs and support their IEP goals
This contract assignment features a flexible part-time schedule of Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays—totalling roughly 20 hours per week, with a slight variation based on workload.
