This position is ideal for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist seeking a short-term, in-person role with a dynamic and flexible assignment environment.
You'll provide high-quality speech and language services three days per week from October through December. Final caseload assignment and location will be determined as staffing is finalized, offering a unique chance to make an impact where it’s needed most within the district. Assignments will be confirmed by August 1st, ensuring clear and timely expectations.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Valid SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience working in K-12 school settings strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, intervention, and consultation for speech/language disorders
- Excellent communication, organization, and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment
- Must be available for in-person services and flexible with potential assignment locations
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group speech-language therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Complete necessary documentation including evaluations, progress reports, and Medicaid billing as applicable
- Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional activities as required
- Travel between school sites as needed per assignment
