Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) are needed for a contract position based onsite within a collaborative and student-focused school environment in Alaska. With a full-time, 40-hour per week schedule, you’ll play a pivotal role in helping elementary-aged learners achieve their communication goals.
This assignment runs from August 14, 2026, through May 27, 2027, with services required at approximately two elementary schools. Your caseload will average around 47 students, allowing you to foster meaningful relationships while making an impactful difference.
Desired Background and Credentials:
- Active Alaska SLP Certification & licensure are mandatory
- SLPs must have the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience supporting elementary student populations in school settings preferred
- Ability to work onsite (no remote services permitted)
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
