State and Federal Requirements:
- Active North Carolina SLP license issued by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC)
- North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) licensure (or eligibility)
- Background check and fingerprint clearance per district guidelines
- Authorization to work in the United States
Job Description:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students across K–12 grade levels
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations in compliance with IDEA regulations
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and track student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and support student achievement goals
