School-Based SLP for Next School Year

Open contract roles are available for Speech-Language Pathologists in a district renowned for its commitment to student success. Assignments will primarily be in the eastern or southern region of the district, with flexibility regarding caseload preferences to ensure the best fit for your expertise and interests.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active state license to practice as an SLP in North Carolina
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (SLP-CF) are welcome to apply and will be provided appropriate supervision
- SLPA credentials are not accepted for this role
- Experience working with students on the autism spectrum (AU) and those with low cognitive disabilities is strongly preferred
- Availability for a full-time schedule during the 2026-2027 academic year
Your Responsibilities:
- Work with student caseloads up to 35, providing evaluation, diagnosis, and ongoing therapy services
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans, collaborating with educators and families
- Engage in IEP planning and documentation to support student communication goals
- Maintain thorough and accurate records in compliance with school and district policies
- Participate actively in professional development opportunities, staff meetings, and district initiatives
