School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Albemarle, North Carolina

Desired Qualifications:
- Current or eligible state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), Clinical Fellowship (SLP-CF), or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but strong new graduates or assistants will be considered
- Experience or enthusiasm for working in K-5 or elementary school settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Flexibility to adapt to caseload and school assignments as determined
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary students, providing support for a variety of communication challenges
- Conduct evaluations and assessments, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and meet compliance requirements
- Participate in meetings and provide input on student progress and interventions
- Adapt to changing needs, caseload assignments, and setting requirements within the school community
