Your background includes:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license in the state of Oregon (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
- Experience with school-aged children (K-12) preferred
- Confidence in managing diverse caseloads, ranging from mild to complex needs
- Strong interpersonal skills and a dedication to student success
- Ability to work onsite every day and adapt to varying school settings within the region
- Familiarity with IEP processes and compliance standards
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to a caseload of approximately 50-60 students (adjusted proportionally for part-time)
- Assess, diagnose, and plan individualized treatment for students in collaboration with educators and families
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Contribute to IEP meetings, providing expertise and advocacy for each student’s communication needs
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary teams, sharing strategies for student growth and achievement
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
