Desired Skills & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license (or eligibility) in Alabama
- Previous experience with pediatric, early childhood, or elementary populations preferred
- Familiarity with IEP documentation and goal writing
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to different caseloads and student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech and language therapy services to students K–12
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with school teams
- Assess, monitor, and document student progress
- Collaborate with families, staff, and other professionals to optimize student success
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide training or consultation as needed
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
