School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Alabaster, Alabama

Make a meaningful difference in students’ lives while advancing your expertise as a Speech Language Pathologist in schools. We’re seeking three dedicated SLPs to work onsite with caseloads near 60 students each, collaborating with educators to foster communication skills and growth.
Openings are available for the 2026-2027 academic year at several school levels, including high school, elementary, and middle school settings. Full-time and split-week assignments provide options for professionals looking for variety and flexibility in their work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology Certification in Alabama
- SLP Educator Certification for AL schools
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) also encouraged to apply
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to coordinate effectively with teachers, parents, and special education teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and provide therapeutic interventions for students with communication and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor and document student progress with clear, thorough records
- Lead group and individual therapy as appropriate
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support overall student well-being
- Maintain compliance with state and district requirements
