Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Adkins, TX

This assignment begins August 27, 2026, and extends through May 27, 2027. You’ll work 37.5 hours weekly across five days, serving a caseload of around 101 students with the assistance of an SLPA. New graduates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply, as the team is possibly open to mentorship and support during this phase. Your primary focus will be elementary-aged children, making this a rewarding placement for SLPs passionate about pediatric communication needs.
Qualifications:
- Current Texas SLP license required
- CCC-SLP certification preferred; CFY candidates considered
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings highly desired
- Strong collaboration and team communication skills
- Ability to supervise an SLPA if assigned
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy and comprehensive evaluations for elementary students
- Collaborate with teaching staff, families, and other professionals to implement effective IEPs
- Oversee and guide the assigned SLPA in daily clinical tasks
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and IEP development
