Key Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Science or Communication Disorders
  • Experience as a paraprofessional or in a school setting preferred
  • Background or training in language/articulation therapy is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and active listening skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate with diverse teams and maintain a positive, solution-focused attitude
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new therapy techniques
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

What You’ll Do:

  • Implement therapy plans developed by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Conduct and support assessments, collect case histories, and assist in data tracking
  • Deliver individualized interventions to help students improve speech and language skills
  • Monitor and record student progress, assisting with documentation and reporting
  • Consult with therapists, families, and staff to share student progress and strategies
  • Attend meetings for IEPs, in-services, and parent communications to support educational planning
  • Help transport students to and from therapy areas as needed
