Key Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Science or Communication Disorders
- Experience as a paraprofessional or in a school setting preferred
- Background or training in language/articulation therapy is a plus
- Excellent verbal and active listening skills
- Proven ability to collaborate with diverse teams and maintain a positive, solution-focused attitude
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new therapy techniques
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
What You’ll Do:
- Implement therapy plans developed by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Conduct and support assessments, collect case histories, and assist in data tracking
- Deliver individualized interventions to help students improve speech and language skills
- Monitor and record student progress, assisting with documentation and reporting
- Consult with therapists, families, and staff to share student progress and strategies
- Attend meetings for IEPs, in-services, and parent communications to support educational planning
- Help transport students to and from therapy areas as needed
