Pediatric SLP in Farmville, NC
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Farmville, NC, focused on providing specialized therapy services within an elementary school setting. This contract position offers a schedule of 37.5 hours per week, aligning with school hours from 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM. The role involves working with a caseload of approximately 50 students from Pre-K through 5th grade, each presenting a variety of communication disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services tailored to individual student needs
- Conduct screenings and comprehensive evaluations as required
- Manage caseload across two school sites at one location for four days and another location for one day per week
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop effective intervention plans
- Maintain detailed and accurate student records in compliance with educational guidelines
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid CCC-SLP certification
- Experience working as an SLP in school-based or pediatric settings
- Expertise in pediatric communication disorders and assessment tools
