- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP (CCC or CFY considered)
- Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Familiarity with IEP process and documentation
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Evaluate new referrals, assess speech, language, and communication disorders, and interpret evaluation results
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to deliver comprehensive care and support
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team sessions
- Utilize evidence-based practices and current strategies to meet students’ needs
- Assist in prevention, assessment, and intervention activities related to speech-language development
