A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed for a school-based contract position in Petaluma, CA. This role involves providing specialized speech and language therapy services to students to support their communication development and academic success.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment results.
- Deliver direct therapy sessions to students with speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress.
- Document therapy goals, progress notes, and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to educational planning.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification and CCC credential.
- Experience working with school-aged children in a therapy setting.
- Knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
