Pediatric Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Pathologist - Mccleary, Washington

Key Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Reliability in maintaining required state licensure and ASHA CCC-SLP or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience with pediatric populations, especially PreK–2nd grade
- Solid understanding of school-based therapy models, IEP processes, and relevant documentation
- Comfort delivering services virtually (teletherapy) or onsite, collaborating with SLPA and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, organization, and advocacy skills
- Compassion for students with a range of needs, including those in high-needs or special programs
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and regular progress monitoring for a caseload of approximately 80 students
- Provide targeted direct and consultative speech/language therapy, adapting approach to individual education plans
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure effective interventions
- Document services, outcomes, and compliance according to district and legal requirements
- Contribute to IEP meetings, goal setting, and broader student success initiatives
- Maintain ethical practice standards and pursue ongoing professional development
