Pediatric Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Pathologist - Elma, Washington

This school-based Speech-Language Pathologist position offers a flexible weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, with the option to provide virtual services if paired with an onsite SLPA. Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or eligibility to complete Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience in educational settings, preferably with PreK–2nd grade or pediatric populations
- Skilled in teletherapy and comfortable with virtual service provision
- Knowledge of developing and implementing IEPs
- Collaborative attitude and ability to provide support to SLPA onsite
- Experience or interest in working with high-needs students is a plus
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students in general and high-needs classrooms
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs
- Complete necessary evaluations, documentation, and progress monitoring within required timelines
- Supervise or collaborate closely with the SLPA delivering onsite support
- Maintain strong communication with parents, classroom teachers, and other school staff
- Adapt materials and strategies to suit individual student needs, fostering positive learning environments
