Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Therapist in New Haven, CT
A contract position is available for a Skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a school setting located in New Haven, CT. This opportunity involves providing specialized therapy services to support students with communication needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy to students based on assessed needs
- Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with educational goals
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to optimize student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Participate in meetings and contribute to individualized education programs (IEPs)
Qualifications:
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP preferred)
- Experience working with children in a school environment
- Strong knowledge of speech and language developmental milestones and disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Location: New Haven, Connecticut
