This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) with a strong background in working with school-aged children from Kindergarten through 5th grade. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering therapy services to students in grades K-6.
- Manage a caseload aligned with the typical demands of school-based therapy.
- Support documentation and progress monitoring under the guidance of the supervising SLP.
- Collaborate with educators and staff to integrate therapy goals within the academic setting.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Experience as an SLPA with at least one full school year of practical, hands-on experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Spanish is mandatory.
- Knowledge and experience providing therapy in a K-5 school setting.
- Comfort working with students presenting mild to moderate speech and language challenges.
Schedule and Commitment:
- Approximately 35 hours per week.
