Make a meaningful impact on students’ lives as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting school-aged children through therapy and assessment. This contract opportunity provides a full-time, onsite role for the 2026–2027 school year, working alongside educators, support staff, and families to foster positive communication outcomes.

Schedule:

  • Full-time position

  • Coverage during the 2026–2027 academic year

In this role, you’ll:

  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ speech and language development
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments using evidence-based practices
  • Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to assigned students
  • Maintain clear, accurate documentation in accordance with state and district requirements
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and school functions as needed
  • Adapt intervention strategies to meet diverse student needs

The ideal candidate brings:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Illinois SLP license
  • American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred (recent graduates/CFYs are welcome to apply)
  • Strong preference for individuals with or eligible for the Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Clinical experience in pediatric, hospital, or school-based therapy settings, with knowledge of compliance and documentation standards
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities

Compensation for this position ranges from $25.03 to $40.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
