Contribute your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic hospital setting supporting patients in their communication and swallowing rehabilitation needs. This contract opportunity is based in Seattle and calls for an experienced, motivated SLP to provide critical therapy services within an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-time, contract-based assignment

Qualifications:

  • Valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Previous experience in a hospital or acute care environment strongly preferred
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA desirable
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and therapy planning skills
  • Excellent communication abilities with patients, families, and colleagues

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to promote patient recovery and functional improvement
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other hospital staff in patient care planning
  • Document assessments, progress notes, and outcomes according to hospital policy and regulatory requirements
  • Educate patients and their families on communication strategies and home exercises
  • Maintain high standards of care and adhere to ethical and professional codes of conduct
