Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert speech therapy services in inpatient units at two hospital locations
- Perform advanced assessments, including video swallows, to support patient care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Meditech system
- Adhere to hospital policies, dress code, and unit-specific guidelines
- Float between Belton Regional Medical Center (71 beds) and Lee’s Summit Medical Center (88 beds) as needed
Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Proven inpatient experience in speech-language pathology
- Proficiency in conducting video swallow studies
- Ability to work weekdays, generally from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with caseload-dependent flexibility
- Comfortable floating between two hospital sites located approximately 20 minutes apart
