Work schedules are primarily weekdays, generally 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, adaptable based on patient caseload. Flexible floating between the two hospitals is required, providing variety and exposure to diverse patient needs within the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language pathology assessments and treatments for inpatient populations
- Perform specialized procedures including video swallow studies
- Document patient care accurately utilizing Meditech electronic health records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and dress code (scrubs, no specific color)
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Proven inpatient clinical experience with advanced skills in swallowing assessment
