Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Recent hospital-based therapy experience highly desirable
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills
Schedule:
- Full-time contract assignment
- Specific hours and shifts discussed during the interview process
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to diagnose disorders of swallowing, communication, and speech
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to coordinate optimal care
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and progress
