Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license (Virginia)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience in a hospital or acute care setting highly desirable
- Comprehensive understanding of dysphagia, aphasia, speech, language, voice, and cognitive-communication disorders
- Strong assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
Schedule:
- Full-time, contract-based position

Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients presenting with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other rehabilitation therapists to deliver cohesive patient care
- Maintain clear and timely patient documentation and progress reports
- Educate patients and families about therapeutic goals, home exercises, and recovery expectations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team rounds and case conferences as needed
