Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Speech-Language Pathology license (CCC or CFY)
- Experience providing services in a school setting, ideally with K-8 students
- Comfort supporting students with behavioral challenges and/or multiple disabilities
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques for varying needs and individualized education plans
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to K-8 students across school and program settings
- Develop and implement individualized goals, monitoring progress and adjusting plans as needed
- Participate as a collaborative member of IEP teams and coordinate with teachers, staff, and families
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with school and district policies
- Offer expertise in interventions that support communication, social skills, and academic achievement
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment where all students are empowered to communicate effectively
