Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology with active SLP licensure in the applicable state
- Prior clinical experience in acute care, rehab, or hospital settings preferred

- Adherence to State Practice Act and completion of mandated continuing education
Schedule:
- Travel position; full-time hours anticipated
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations for assigned patients; develop individualized, evidence-based plans to guide them toward effective discharge within an established length of stay
- Collaborate proactively with the rehab team to address barriers to patient discharge, including patient/family education and equipment arrangements
- Demonstrate flexibility in managing caseloads, treatment sessions, and coverage, maintaining high standards of care and communication
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with hospital, state, and federal guidelines
- Support professional and patient advocacy efforts, including health fairs, community events, and professional organizations
- Actively participate in student mentorship, professional development planning, and organizational performance improvement initiatives
