Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Active enrollment in or recent completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required
- Experience working within hospital or acute care settings preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and patient engagement skills
- Ability to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to patients of varying ages and backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology assessments and interventions in a hospital environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement personalized care plans
- Apply behavior analysis techniques to reinforce and support speech and language development
- Track, document, and share patient progress and outcomes with healthcare teams and families
- Educate caregivers and fellow clinicians on therapy approaches and behavioral support strategies
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, HIPAA regulations, and ethical standards within the scope of practice
