The role involves moderate travel between the two sites, allowing for varied clinical experiences in a supportive Midwestern healthcare community.
Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient speech-language pathology evaluation and treatment, focusing on swallowing and communication disorders.
- Perform specialized procedures such as video swallow studies with advanced skill.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain thorough documentation using Meditech electronic systems.
- Adhere to hospital protocols, policies, and dress code with professional scrub attire.
- Floating between the two hospitals to meet patient care demands throughout weekdays.
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Proven inpatient hospital experience in speech therapy.
- Competency and confidence in conducting video swallow evaluations.

Schedule / Hours:
- Typically weekdays, approximately 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, workload dependent.
